Well that was frustrating for me

I missed the first race bya few seconds, and then in the 2nd race someone span infront of me at T1 and I couldn't avoid them... ended my race really because the minis are so slow its impossible to catch anyone.

shame

and then my PC froze for 2 seconds and when it got going again I in the gravel

and then I got disconnected.

sorry about my little outburst.

I had a good first race.

I span while chasing Ian, then battled back from 5th to 2nd....which in slow cars is pretty tough.

Then for the 2nd race (Minis) I qualified on pole, but was taken out on the first corner (I though we'd stopped doing that ) by a car that never would have made the corner had it not used me as a barrier.

Getting a mini out the gravel takes ages, and even though I had 12 laps I could hardly make any inroads.....I think I finished 5th by 6/100s!!

I had another lucky night racing

Race 1. Qualified on pole and made a good start, however Dave was catching and putting me under pressure, which was relieved quite early when he had a spin.

Race 2. Dave had pole, I was 2nd. I made a good start and got the lead into T1, Dave was pushed off I believe, and P Vapour was really hustling me. He passed me into the chicane to take the lead (IIRC). I pushed really hard trying to catch him but he was getting away and I was making more & more silly mistakes.
Then he ran wide in the chicane which allowed me to close up for a while until he had another spin after avoiding a stricken D Mike just before the chicane. I took the opportunity to take the lead and held it until the end.

I just couldn't be arsed...

Not quite the close 'more fun' racing I had in mind, as the pack split up pretty quickly as usual, meaning any mistakes meant you just lagged further and further behind.

Racing alone in a mini is even more boring than racing alone in a 911...
