You can't keep a secret for long round here...........................

So for all those who emailed me etc. YES we have a Turbo or two on cars in the UK......

WORTEC have been working with guys from OZ on a UK version of the Gen-T Intercooled Turbocharger, for the LS1 and LS2 engines

As you may have seen "Monkfish" have just finished the install on Rogers fabulous Hot House Green Ute and I am halfway through tuning it at the moment.

Also "Greens of Rainham" are just about to start an install on a 6.0ltr Monaro and Graham at "Picadors" will be ready to get started on a unit in the next few weeks.

We have not completed much of our testing yet (about 600 miles so far and it still works!) the full spec on the unit is not ready but expect a 600HP ish! figure.

I will keep this tread up to date over the next few month or so ...........but please feel free to ask questions.....................

ooooooooooooo errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Me want one of those......must start saving.....

I've never driven a turbo car. But one thing I always hear when in conversation with Scooby drivers is "lag" and how godd or bad it is. Do you have any comment on this unit Paul?

Oh God. That sounds pretty awesome to me. And expensive too. Oh well there goes the summer holidays. Tee hee.
How would it sit (is that the right word?) with a nitrous install?

That's the benefit of having displacement to create enough exhaust to spool a big turbo quickly.

Turbo size is really relative to engine size (or the exhaust properties fo the engine). So a 2l scoob will struggle to generate enough puff where a 6l block will pass the gas at lower revs...

Sounds excellent!

We are still pulling together all the options (LS1/LS2) and as you realise we were not intending
to release the product yet......BUT a price around £6000 inc vat and fitting could be possible!!!!

We are not commiting to any price yet until it is fully tested................
