Driver parralel lines - is it any good?

hi all,
first time posting on this forum, but i have a PS2 and a lot of good games so i should have been posting here sooner really!
anyway, i bought the new driver game yesterday and so far i am impressed with it! it seems more playable than driv3r and the game space seems bigger and more interesting.
i haven't had a good chance to sit down and get stuck into it yet but has anyone else on here played this yet? are the missions hard? and will i enjoy playing it as much as my other favourite games? (the warriors, GT4 etc)

It's supposed to be a good solid game, unlike the previous driver game. Not up to GTA's standards but good fun nonetheless.

I prefer it to GTA, the graphics are less cartoon like and you can moddify the cars you steal (up to a point). Proper controlled drive by shootings are also prety easy to do with target lock.... not that I would condone this sort of behaviour

Only played it for around 5hrs and got a bit bored with it.

Does it get better after a while?
