Well seeing as I have spent a deal of my Easter scanning old car photos and uploading them to my profile, (THANKS Uncle Dave) I might as well announce it in this pub thingy here (especially as I AM drinking while I'm here)

Some are a bit of a laugh, some are just a waste of space

I have also cheated a bit and used the "fantasy" column to add cars that I have had access to but were not mine.

Oh well, if you are bored have a look

Ha! not quite (actually isn't it the wrong colour?)
edit to say:
Oh I assume you mean the windows? That is a trick of the light, they aren't really that dark)

I'll update the pics when it gets signwritten in a week or 2 but here is a preview

Yes, please don't judge my taste too harshly and remember I live in the 'most isolated city in the world'. As an example, my first car (Torana) I bought in 1978 was 7 years old and cost me $2,500.
Things are improving in terms of availability and affordability of decent cars, but we are still a long way behind England.

I tried to make a note of this in the column header but I had to choose a car name to make the comment, I chose 'smart' so it ended up saying "smart Various cars I have had access to over the years"

Confusing I know. Also there was no Rolls Royce in the car makes list so I had to put that one under Bentley

Why didn't you get the Turbo XR6?

Cant get those in the UK (well not easily)

Also plenty of older Euro cars are ridiculously cheap in Australia, and usually in much better condition for the age due to the milder climate.

You're also on the wrong side of Australia for a car enthusiast, most of the interesting stuff happens on the east coast

Just the price really, and the fact that 95% of it's km are driven by the wife... I did drive a Turbo, they have HUGE torque (can't remember the figure)(edit; it was the XR6 Typhoon with 550Nm of torque, don't have the conversion to ftlb) that makes them quicker in real world driving than the XR8.

Actually I'm living on the wrong side of the world for a car enthusiast, but I've expanded on that elsewhere
