HSV Key Remote Failed, Where / Who ??

Where/how do i get my key remote re programed (HSV GTS ) ?
My remote won't open the door, however i do have a new spare head for it.
Local VX dealed couldn't do it so i'm stuck!

Maybe the battery is dead? Have you opened it to see if its replaceable?

Rich, its sealed and you have to buy a new head with the new battery inside ( which i have done ), but i need to know who will program it for me, i'v read that the head can be programed with the code, but i'v also read that the car need to be put on the machine ??
Not sure where or who can do this?

Ok,I've just done it, i found out that you have to put the new head on the old key blade, turn on your ignition ( car won't start ) , switch it off then its ready to use (on second turn car starts & doors lock & unlock )

nice one - last Vectra I had dealer insisted it would cost me £140 to get a key programmed for my car - funny thing is its a similiar procedure to what you've just done - needless to say I told them to shove it and made do with one remote key.
