Who's up to watch the airshow from the carpark? It is an awesome airshow, last year watched it from the Zurich car park, and it was pretty amazing... This year, gonna go both days.. very handy to supermarket for chicken lunch. Who's up for it?

I live less than a mile from the end of the runway, so will set out early and find a nice place to park.

Look out mose, there's a stone heading your way m8.

I work ~1 mile from the Airport. I'm up for going to see the show from a closer view point. If there's a few cars it might be worth parking at my work place (Jn 4a, M3) and then jumping in one car to get closer.

Watched it when it was last on at the Zurich car park. Got and awesome view all around... Someone there might know where it is.. (i got no idea how I got there), but there is plenty of parking, and might be able to see what it is like as a vantage point.. I know got to see everything from there last time.

Zurich have 2 addresses in Farnborough, one's a PO Box, so given your description of a local supermarket I think this is where you ended up.

There's a Morrisons (formally Safeway) about 5mins walk from that location. And the unmissable Nokia complex is on the opposite side of the road. Ring any bells?

Hey Jace
Did you pay to park there, and who said you could?
I got there early last time and parked on the airfield. Don't know if they'll allow that this year for security reasons. So, get there early and wait ages for the flying to start or get there late, crawl along in the traffic and park miles away? Gotta be the first one.
The Airbus 380 is supposed to be there. Should be good.
