Ariel Atom in Wenvoe

Spotted an Ariel Atom on Port Road heading toward Culverhouse Cross at about 2:00pm today.

Driver was wearing a black full-face crash helmet.

Anyone here.?

Out of interest, is that a legal thing (the helmet) or is that personal (safety) choice.??

I can understand why you would need to wear it in these conditions - law or no law................

Yup, the Atom seems to be synonymous with the Clarkson video. Having watched it a few times I still enjoy it - but I guess I have too!

I'm out in the Atom every day usually between Bridgend and Cardiff and it'll be at the classic car show in Pencoed on the 7th May - hardly a classic in the true sense of the meaning!

Just waiting for the weather to get a little warmer and then a helmet isn't necessary. There's no legal requirement as it's a car but some protection is always advisable.

I'm hoping for good weather as it makes so much difference to the day. I might even take a bucket of water and give the car a quick wash!
