K & N Filter

Bought a K & N Filter today... must say, quiet impressed at the performance improvement it gave to the V6. Going to have to have a look at one for the Monaro, and see what difference it makes.. although, not sure i like the idea of keeping the same filter for 1 million miles. You are spose to clean it every 50k miles... even that seems a little high for me. The last filter lasted only something like 25,000 km, let alone miles..

The part number is 33-2116.... and initial thoughts are that it an awesome piece of kit.. £49 but shop around, halfords rip you off big time. I got mine from motoworld, but I have a contact at K & N who can tell you were you can order it from.

yeah don't be a mug and pay £75 like I did from local motorstore place. Still not fitted it - need time and dry weather to carry out the airbox mod as well to improve the airflow to the filter to get best out of it.

See, not sure if it is the same one as the v8... might be... haven't had a close enough look yet. Lots for me to learn over the next couple of months..

Raggyman,got one here from my 300kw GTS-R part no: 33-2116
Whole air box and intake also.Keep finding bits that were purchased and not used or changed for alternatives.Let me know if interested.
