I have solved a mystery!

I have long wondered what the colour of my Cerb' is, but after watching the TopGear TVR story vid' from Uncle Dave's I now know...

it's the colour of the first owner's ski boots! So that's going to be a doddle to match isn't it!

There was a story (told by Danielle during a factory visit, so it should be true) that one customer got her car in the same colour as her favourite nail polish.....

See - it could be worse

Its a common thing - you see a colour, take it to Gerbil and he makes the colour up and you get the car in the colour you wanted, yes there was the ski boots and the lipstick, also one ummm, how can I say it, high class lady of the night, wanted her griff in barbie Pink. Dad had to take that to London - he was rather embarrased.

So, does the factory keep records of the mix code?

Phone the factory - ask for Pat Cumming, and expain you need the paint code for your car. You can then match it to the ones you have.

If that draws a blank - ask for Gerbil, he should remember the car.

Great piece of history for your car though , one of the many things that make owning a TVR special IMHO .

Hey, better Ski-Boot Purple than Boring Blue

I wonder what TVR Marketing would call the shade, Purple Piste, or Halcyon Downhill, or Eddie the Eagle Deep Purple?
