it's finished, for those of you who don't know this conversion has been done using all Original Porsche parts and has taken 6 months to complete, it has cost around £9000 all in. if anyone is interested in doing this conversion on there car I would be happy to offer any advice i can just send me your email address. I hope you all like it? also I would love to get the car on display at one of the porsche shows or even in a magazine, does anyone know how to go about this?

Thanks,

Anthony.

Well done sir. Money well spent. And you probably didn't like the 997's mirrors anyway

Would love to see a main stealer's face, if you ever come to part exchange it.

Anthony,

I was a sceptic when you started the transformation; but I'm impressed with the results.

Well done!

thanks alot, the wing mirrors will be on by the weekend and the rear carrera badge, and to say that I'm happy is an understatement I can't move away from my front window!!

Thanks again,

Anthony.

P.S. Any advice on the magazines would be very welcome.

Contact Rob Mugglestone of Total 911 ( rob@9publishing.co.uk) and tell him about the conversion.

I have thought about taking down to the dealer, but they just seem to have a knack of really getting me down whenever I visit them!? It would be funny getting a phone call from them saying err could you please not cash that cheque......

bo33 I just wasn't brave enough!!! and to be honest judging by the amount of attention it's getting now it would probably have been to much for me.

Is the paintwork as new? I mean would it look execatly the same next to a new car at close inspection? If so, where did you have the paintwork done?

When I first read about you doing this I couldn't really understand why you were bothering.

You clearly have much more vision than I do as that is absolutely fantastic!

Well done - fancy doing another?

I saw your initial thread and liked what you were doing.

The finished product is stunning.
