Hey chaps,

Thought I'd post a quick time for a benchmark if you will.

1:19:5 - after only about 5 minutes of titting about - had to go out for the weekend now...

I've also got a very nice feeling setup - lots of front end grip, the back stick over the drops, so I'm quite happy.

Providing I don't get ttted out on the first lap I'm hoping to be at least a little competitive...

ooh goody, did 10 laps this morning and i've managed a 1.18.9 and I reckon there's a bit more to come... I wonder if I'll be on the pace this week?

no doubt all the usual gits will start putting in 1.17s and I'll be last again.

Cheers Dobbo 1:17.5 for me with half an hour's practice. Fully expecting to see low 1:16s or even 1:15s for the head of the pack.

Neither have I.

Fastest lap on GTL Rank is a 01:16.233s, 2nd quickest is a 01:16.873s and 3rd quickest is 01:17.559s so unless many quick posters haven't done the short Dijon track in the Ferrari the times I would have thought won't get much quicker than that.

1:16.6 now Probably won't use this setup in the race though, it's quite hard on the tyres and engine!

I seem to be going faster by throwing it sideways everywhere.

I think that a sideways entry into some corners means you can brake a bit later.

edit: my setup is uploaded here... www.ph.uncle-dave.co.uk/gtl/upload/index.php

edit 2: you may want to change the brake balance as I have it on quite an extreme setting (move it a bit more fowards).

Blimey Mike - fastest in the world round ShDijon in the Fezza 1:16.145

I'm 15th in the world with 1:18.475 (after 20 laps of practice)

Down to a 1:17.378 now, reckon I've got a bit more but I struggle to be consistent.

By the way, Mike, that's too fast, you aren't allowed to play later, sorry.

I can do a 1.17.4 fairly easily but I cant seem to go much quicker than that.
Not very happy about being almost 2s of the pace, especially as I thought digon would be one of my better tracks.

Went to a wedding yesterday and drank from 2pm till 5am, so im not feeling so hot today.

The right lines to take around digon seem to be confusing, I think ill just wait till the race and watch some of you quicer guys in spec, im sure ill figure it out then

I managed a 1:17.9 with my own setup (which i've uploaded in case anyone want to try it ) and a 1:17.8 with Mike's.

might be challenging for the last on the points places

the best thing you can do is watch a replay of a quick lap...

here's a replay... don't worry about braking points... worry about lines and when you can get the power on.

www.dange.co.uk/GTL/Dijon-short%20mike%20fezza%20record.Vcr

right click... save as. stick it your GTL/replaydata (or something like that) directory.

Thanks

How do you get the throttle blips on the down changes?

I drove that lap with autoclutch off (F2).

Basically I just prod the throttle with my foot as I press the change down button pretty much. I don't press the clutch button/use the clutch at all except for starting.

I think the gearchanges are a bit quicker this way (you need to lift off when you change up though).
