Just wondered if anyone on here is going.

This will be my first time out in the new Chimaera 5.3, should be fun if its wet

My mate will be there in his 997 Carrera 2. I guess he'll be a lot quicker in the wet with all the electronic gizmo's taking care of things

I'll be there in a R400, with one friend in a Superlight R, and another in a 355 Spyder. If its wet then the Caterham s will have a great laugh......

I'll be there with the CSL and cup tyres. I hear they are really grippy in the wet!

I'll be there! The forecasts on the Met office site looks like it might be dry. I'll be in a Blue S2 Elise 135r.

Cheers

Well - errrrrrr that was a bit wet

Regrettably, my attempts to sort my battery charge gremlins were of no use on my black Radical.

Hopefully some home work tomorrow will resolve

Nice to meet some of you - sorry re the bad news on the nose cone

If anyones at Rockingham Monday - please say hello

Cheers
Jon

Rockingham is really good - though i find the concrete walls a little intimidating.

Bedford was a complete and total wash out but thats the way it goes i suppose

Hi all, well bit of a disater with the TVR but thats another story. Had a lot of fun in the wet in my mates Carrera 2S with the traction control turned off. Its amazing how far sideways you can get it without losing it, fantastic car, its got so much grip in the wet. Shame i didn't get to have a go in the dry though. Andy

Oh, sounds like a big end, knocking like a b@stard. I can only assume that it was oil surge, I know the pressure was good because i checked the guage a couple of times on each lap, and the engine was built by a company with a reputation for building bullet proof engines.
i have uprated the suspension, brakes, wheels recently and this was the first time out on track, maybe that was the cause. Bit of a pisser but i guess that was the next weakest link, i'll have to invest in a baffled sump next. Andy
