I am interested in buying a second car for the track, ideally a Radical.
I have tried searching this forum and the rest of the web, but can find very little on what differentiates the models.
I am looking to spend £10-12k which obviously puts an SR3 out of the question.
I see there are lots of different models e.g. prosport, clubsport, tracksport etc. but I'm having a lot of trouble working out which model offers what!
Does anyone have a link which will give me a load of information of the clubsport, tracksport, and prosport models? As much information as I can get on each would be great.

Problem with Radicals is they get modified from thier original state particulary Club and Pro Sports. The basics are -
Clubsport - Nik-link front ARB, AVO shocks, Kawasaki 1100cc engine, 2 pot brakes and solid discs, 13x6" and 13x8" wheels, just front splitter and rear gurney flap, cross-ply tyres
Prosport - Nik link front and rear, Koni shocks, Suzuki 1300/1500cc engine, 4 pot brakes, vented discs, 13x8" and 13x10", full aero package, Radial tyres
Both cars share a lot in common, the better buy is the Prosport but they command a higher premium. Clubsports are cheaper.

The Prosport does seem to be the one to go for. Is this a road-legal model or is it limited to track-use only (not really an issue, just curiosity).
Also, does the Prosport have two seats or one? I would ideally like 2 seats as the car would be shared with my brother.

Normally the old clubsports and prosports have only one seat. However, Van Kaiser performs very nice two seat conversions. I bought a clubsport with a two seat converson and prosport wing and this is in your price rance. I am fairly sure that Van has a converted prosport available and maybe a clubsport. If you are interested let me know and I can give you Van's contact details.
