For the second time the engine sprocket on our 1100 Clubsport has worked loose on a track day. My spanner man said he did it up as tight as poss plus thread lock. Any idea's \ comments on how to prevent this problem happening again would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have the lock washer fitted????
If not its a standard kawasaki part will get the part number if you want it.

Did he torque it AND use the lockwasher? IIRC the torque spec was 90 ft. lbs.

For future ref the Kawasaki part no's are as follows ;
Nut (20mm) : 92015-1210 (£5.38 each)
Washer : 92200-1234 (£1.57 each)
Available no problem from my local bike dealer.
The Haynes ZZR1100 bike manual says torque setting is 72 lbf ft (10 kgf m)
Cheers
