Bought this yesterday as I'd been looking forward to it for ages. Really dissapointed

Apart from the graphics, it looks like a copy of the previous version, and suffers from slowdown and tearing.

The extreme mode features a load of generic bikes which is dissapointing as it would have been nice to ride the flagship models from each team in Moto GP (unless these are unlockable?).

If the old version worked on the 360, I'd take this game back.

This is my first moto gp game, got it friday. I did notice when overloaded with actions it did kind of stutter a little bit. However being a hardcore addict on driving games i was suprised how much i like this game. Sure the graphics could be better but at the speeds i'm taking corners at i don't care if i can see a little birdie flying in the distance.
I feel this game is harder to really master than say project gotham. I want to get a bit further in the game before I start to even bother taking on the fastest track times.
Can anyone tell me what racing online is like? It is the usual xbox live carnage fest that we've all gotten used to? I'd imagine on this game it's even more annoying when someone just piles in to the back of you, knocking you off and putting you at the back. Thinking about it, perhaps i should just race offline and do time trails etc.

It is good online, you have all the usual options such as no collisions etc.

After playing it and accepting it is just the previous version tweaked a bit, I am really enjoying it.

Use the back brake lots, you can trail brake into the corners as jamming on the front brake tends to dull the steering, with just the back you can slide it round them and get on the gas early.

the bug with the friends lists is still there and is very annoying but I hope they fix it soon.

Ive just got this and found it annoying as you couldn't feather the throttle through the bends - so ive swapped the throttle onto the right trigger, left full brakes on the default setting, and put the seperate brakes on the left trigger/bumper. This means I can feather the throttle through the bend, and use the rear brake to tighten my line if I need to.

I use the right thumbstick for accelerating and braking with the triggers as front and back brake. The thumbstick will autobrake both brakes and when i get close to the speed i want around the corner, i keep the back brake on and this allows me to start to apply throttle as i am letting off the back brake.

It works quite nicely and i leave nice skid marks around most corners, which isn't the quickest way around but it does sling the back out and allow you to cut corners and take a tighter exit line to keep out of the cpu's way.

I use the same setting tycho. I am able to feather the throttle through corners.
It is a lot of fun to powerslide however im doing the GP in champion mode and there just isn't time to powerslide. I'm finding i have to be 100% perfect in all corners otherwise i get swallowed by the pack and normally knocked off the bike and the computer players seem to be really tough. They can easily knock me off my bike.
I probably shouldn't have started the GP in champion mode whilst my stats are only 30 across the board! Probably should have done pro mode first and a few more 600,1000,1200 races to get my stats up to more like 50-60. oh well.
Anyone here completed champion mode? I've love to see what Legend mode is like!

The difference with this game to most of the other racing games is that the computer racers aren't that quick, just consistent. I can get pole on almost any setting but fall off a few times in each race which fcuks it up for you!

I've just completed my first championship, in Rookie mode - but I still don't have any sponsors. I've managed to customise my bike etc to the extent that I have one logo on them, but what else can I do?

No idea on the sponsor front. Like you i've completed GP rookie mode. I then did 3/4's of a season on 600's in pro mode then decided to take on GP in champion mode. I'm getting through it but i find in champion mode the computer bikes take corners so well/fast. It makes for some awesome close racing.

I had this come yesterday. Have to say it is really dissapointing.

The views are rubbish, the controls are over very slow so much the I always find my self on the grass or on the floor. I have changed the controls so that right trigger is accelerate and left trigger & bumper are front and rear brakes. If you change the view so you are following the bike, the bike looks crap. If the view is on the bike or the front, you can't see the rev counter plus when you are banked over it gives you no warning before you low slide out.

Sooo glad this game is rented and can send back through the post!!

had top spin come with it. That is so much better.. Will try again with motogp as I love the other games in the series but can't get on with this at the moment.
