Football Manager 2006 - anyone play it?

I am a little bit too addicted to this game!

Going to end up divorced at this rate!

Loving it though. If you want to buy anyone try Ligouri. Very good but 15 at start of game.

Has anybody got any other player tips?

deliberately never bought it - because I know how much time I've spent on Championship Manager in the past and can't afford to end up down that route again!

Depending on how much cash you have and what positions need filling the following are always top of my wanted list

Cesar Delgado - AM/FC
Kerlon - FC
Tomas Sivok - DMC
Leobang Mokoena - AM RC
Borre - DRC

I normally only play half a season as its the wheeling and dealing that is fun!!

I play it every day. I hate myself for it. But. I. Can't. Stop.
Haven't really got any tips, it seems this game is the hardest yet and one mans
tactics just don't seem to work for someone else. It seems it's got a bit too complex!
Have to say though that playing the lower leagues is much more satisfying than playing the big 'uns. FM2007 is out in October (I think) time to pre0order on Play me thinks...
