4-5 Hours on bobbing about, (I went back to bed)we arrive round the side shore of the Isle of white.

We thought about going to shore here, but a quick peek through the binoculars revealed some local folk wandering about with the tackle out, so thought best move round to another shore. Anyhow the little engine on the dinghy wouldn't start. There was a 3 Knot tide drawing out, and I know I can row that fast.

Stephanie wanted a stick of rock, so we all got into a tiny dighy and wend ashore. Jason & Fred thought it would be good to swim back to the boat mored Qtr/mile off-shore. I rowed back.

While on the isle, I saw this lovely thing....

Its nice in the tender too.

Anyhow back now, and managed to get out to the Rutland TVR meet, had a pretty passenger, and a good run out. Went home to make friends with Joanne, and the dogs. Sorry I couldnt make it to the BBQ

Looks like a lovely chilled day out to me, although I would have preferred more seahorse power!

Ta for the rock! I'm sucking on it now!

Jaws - You should hear the triple cylinder diesel, its the same as the trawler boats engine, just before its cooked. I must admit I found it a strangly familiar sound. One of the crew in the film was called "Baker" also!!! FFSake three on one boat too.

I recon my dad had him at one point!!! (Hooper)
