I'm just looking thru the BCA catalogue for their June auction at Brooklands. There was a 1986 944 turbo with 69K that in 2001 won the Porsche club GB water cooled concours class. The price guide was £7K to £8K but it sold for £5.9K.
That is not to bad as nearly all the cars fell well short of the guide prices.

BCA tend to deal with the lower end of the Porsche market and there can be some bargains for private buyers.

However, Coys seem to sell the more serious cars and there is a nice 914/6 Group 4 race car (c.£40-50k) and a stunning rhd 356A Speedster (c.£60-70k)in their next sale at Blenheim Palace this Saturday (24th).

More significantly, Coys are holding a sale of important historic Porsche sportscars at the big Eynsham Hall event on 27 August, entitled 'The Excellence of Porsche'. This will no doubt include some 'run of the mill' Porsches and automobilia so could be very interesting.

I suppose, if anyone has an interesting Porsche, or Porsche item, to sell it may be worth contacting Coys.
