No, and despite the fact it would be a great idea, I'm pretty bloody sure that anyone considering setting one up should consider "obstructing a police officer" and the penalties it carries...

Just keep your eyes open, as they are easy to spot.

They are the only ones driving correctly !

But, are often the ones you think are trying to make you drive faster...so watch out!

An unmarked car is one of the easiest things in the world to spot! If you can't see them , a website isn't going to help. How anyone in this day and age can be caught by an unmarked car is beyond me....

What would be the "obstructing"?

<blush> I got caught by one a couple of months ago. I spotted it just as I whipped past it on the A14. Lucky I spotted it and eased down because he then followed me for about 10 miles @~85 before putting on the lights, probably waiting for me to give it the "big one". I had no excuse though, the signs were all there. Dark blue Volvo T5 BTW. 94 in a 70, though I doubt he could have corroborated that in court since he was never actually following me at that speed, and I doubt that was the speed I was doing as I went past him. Accepted his FP offer though, just in case

Perhaps obstructing is the wrong word, but whatever it is that people get done for when "flashing" to warn of a mobile camera.

Surely thats about as illegal or obstructive as a website with the location of police stations on, so burgulars know not to rob homes near them or something?

Surely they'd be hard pressed to prove obstruction? Surely deterrent for murder of several years in prison or whatever is obstruction in that case? A marked police car is obstructing itself?

Many people don't even see the marked ones, especially in the dark!

They get done for obstruction... and based on this case law, having a site with photos/reg's of unmarked cars would be legal, if compared to flashing drivers as an offence:

www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/Admin/2005/2333.html

the site said:

On the Crown Court's finding, no driver to whom the hand signals were directed was either exceeding the speed limit or likely to do so at the location of the speed trap. In these circumstances, there was no actual obstruction of the police. On the authorities referred to by my Lord, going back to Bastable v Little [1907] 1 KB 59, no offence of obstructing the police in the course of their duty was committed. I, too, would answer the question posed in the affirmative and dismiss the appeal. The appeal is therefore dismissed.

Well, there's something I didn't expect to see...

Off the top of my head in current service the UK plod have (odd ball unmarked traffic):

Evo 7/8/9
VW Golf GTi
Blob and bug WRX and STi
Accord Type R
Audi TT
Audi A3
BMW 3 and 5 series
Skoda Octavia and Superb

Obviously add on the Omega, Vectra, Volvo, Mondeos etc etc etc and its a lot of cars. Basically anything with a decent (ish) engine. We used to have a some Accord Type Rs, but with no spoiler on the boot - would not attract attention and was fairly quick too. Now have A3s, Golfs, Subarus.
