Anyone else got this? Me and my mate are trying to load these unloack codes and we're getting nowhere!

Have got it, but haven't tried the codes, sorry.
However, just wanted to post as I've now finished it on Expert after two weeks trying to get the last five songs. Woohoo!

I just got this game few days ago and it appears that it can only be played sober

I am stuck on medium difficulty for crying out loud. I have completed 23 out of 30 songs but can't get passed 'crossroads' or 'no one knows' to open up the last bit.

i can only get about 15-20% complete on either of them

I hear you, the more beer I drink the worse I get! Best advice is to play it lots and know the songs. I downloaded mp3s of the problem tracks so I knew at least roughly what was coming when I played the game. With the later songs, the timing is the hardest bit, especially in the solos. So just keep going until you know where things change and can trip you up. Oh, and keep star power in reserve so that when things get hairy you can use it to get you out of a jam.
