Different dates on paperwork

My son got stopped by BiB 2 months ago, VASCAR'd, so given written NIP and told he would get court summons. Summons arrives with 2 different dates, first date on the 'you have to appear front letter' is next month (ie 2006) and all other summons information is dated 2 years later ie 2008.

is there a case for a no show or a techincal get out?

Treat the next month as gospel.

If you don't then they will call you at Court, get no reply and either issue fresh summons or a bench warrant for your arrest for failinmg to appear if they are satisfied summon(s) have been served.
