I've noticed that my bonnet flexing up and down at speeds above 60mph .. almost oscillating ? I recently fitted quick-release mounts and don't recall problems before. Is this 'normal' ? Should I add some damping (foam) between the bonnet and the wheel arch perhaps ?

You'd do better to get one of those fit birds from the Motor Show to sit on the bonnet to stop the flexing 'coz you wouldn't be going anywhere then, right ?

Hi Peter, would be great to see you and your car sometime ... will you be at the Dorset TVRCC meet this weekend ?

Hi Adrian, I'll indeed give you a call ...

Kinda lost touch with the Dorset club post-Paul's RO, still Avon Causeway ? I may be able to make it on Sun.

Yes - Avon Causeway - I plan a run out (bonnet permitting!) to Goodwood Breakfast Club (this month's for 'classics') beforehand ...

After a chat with Adrian, I've some more ideas .. the most serious, of which is a rebuild of the crsoo-spar and pins area. Before I do that, could someone, who has a nicely fitting bonnet, kindly send me some photos of their pins and surrounding area ... Tks Duncan

Not quite sure which end you're having probs with. Mine fits fairly well although try as a I may I can't reduce the gap at the screen end below about 1/2". If I can find your Email address via your profile I'll send you some pics, just popping out now in the S as it's a super evening.
