Recently received our insurance renewal....up a bit on last year at £817 !
30 mins playing on the web this morning has brought that down to a much more attractive £555.

For anyone that's interested, thats for Mrs Rocket and myself, both in our late 30s, 7 years NCB, 7000 miles per annum, with cat-back zorst, garaged in Essex. And thats with Elephant.

It's a 2005 CV8, and I put a value of £21k. That quote is with a total of £450 excess.

That's in my wife's name, with me as a named driver. Interestingly, if I changed that around and put in my name with her as the named driver (which I can't actually do 'cos I haven't got 7 yrs NCB), it came out even less at about £500.

I ended up using Adrian Flux. Recent spate of rear ending left me with 3 years NCB, I have 9 points, Cat 2 alarm and no tracker. Insurance was down to £530ish, fom £1280 with TESCO. BARGAIN!!
