Hamann enhances Murcielago

New spoilers, carbon fibre bits, and exhaust

Lamborghini Murcielago by Hamann
Lamborghini Murcielago by Hamann
German tuner Hamann has launched a range of add-ons for your Lamborghini Murciélago.

As if the Audi-owned company's vehicle weren't wild-looking enough, the company reckons it can be enhanced by its Kevlar or fibreglass spoilers front and rear -- watch those speed humps -- a carbon fibre interior kit a new stainless steel sports exhaust and 20-inch wheels.

For more details, check out Hamann's site (link below).

Normally I'm not at all into the tuning thingy . . . but somehow Hamann floats my boat.

Not so sure about the rimms, but those Lambo's look the nuts. Since the Diablo is the last real Lambo I guess a bit of 'mean extra' is allowed . . .

Check out the Roller.

Would make a nice Bentley version of the Phantom (if the Rolls / Bentley collaberation still existed)

Hamann "ENHANCES" the Murcielago.????.....not the description I would have used, with apologies to all those who think it looks better after a trip to a posh Halfords.

Take a car that comes in limited numbers and has had a team of enginers and designers pouring over the concept and development etc, and a manufacturer that has spent millions in producing a purist design that is akin to their brand ethos.........and then ruin it with a charver body kit and a look that you would find at mac a d's....

Hmmmm agreed. Can't see the point! It's expensive enough as it is plus it's a lovely looking car anyway! Why change it!? Waste of time and money if you ask me!

Chavtastic.

Don't think I've seen a single thing that Hamann do that improves the cars they "improve".

I suppose we can at least be thankful they haven't put chrome wheels on it.... Is it just me or are they the automotive equivalent of white socks ?

They are not proper lambo doors, the doors look like Max Power rip-offs.

Why do people insist on changing thing like the Lambo, 20 inch rims seriously the original car looks the muts nuts as it is, and as there would be hardly any performance gain from the exhaust (the factory fit one on it will already be optimised for maximum performance!!!!), what is the point, but still rich chavs can get their rocks off over what they can do to their new Lambo I suppose

Each to their own I suppose, I kind of like the Gallardo, minus the doors.

I was not going to contribute to this thread, but after reading it I feel I must, in order to restore a little balance. I personally prefer the original, although I do like it, but it is all personal choise and some of the comments are just sounding like sour grapes because because people either want one and can't afford it, or would do it to theirs if they had one/got one but for fear of micky take. Horses for courses....and there is obviously a market for it regardless of what we say here. At the end of the day, it's a Lambo!

I generally like what they've done to the car just not the door, it makes the Lambo look tacky.

I remember Simon George or somebody saying that putting larger wheels on the Murci shagged up the drivetrain, or something along those lines.

Thats why they never put larger than 18 inch wheels on it.

Bigger wheels are for looks, not for driveing . . .

I know that, but what I meant is that I heard that putting larger wheels on a Murci actually damaged the drivetrain.

Yes, I prefer the original, don't rate the butchered version, could afford one......if I sold my house and lived in a caravan. No sour grapes though, and if I did buy one there is not a chance I would ruin it with a bit of carbon tat and some gangsta' bling..... personally, I would rather give the money to oxfam, than ruin a beautiful piece of automotive engineering.
