hi ,everyone can anyone help me .my leather on my dash 9driver side has come unstock for some reason ,it is about 6ins , in length so far ,can any one tell me can it just be stock back from inside or is it a windscreen out job it is coming away by the windscreen it seems a bit stiff and i am a bit worried if i try a bend it it will split any help would be great many thanks paul

Is this the bit under the windscreen with the screen vents in?
If so, I think to do it properly you need to remove the leather-covered dash moulding (which requires removal of the instrument panel). I've done this and can talk you through it, but you'll need to be reasnably confident with fiddly (if not actually difficult) jobs. It may stricly be a screen out job, but I'd have though you could have a good go at it without removing the screen - as that's quite drastic.

Maybe try the Griffith forum for other experiences?

hi,griffter it is by thedash vents like you said i don,t fancy trying to take dash out myself i,ll do as you say and try someother threads see what i can come up with, some one said to use a hair dryer on the leather to make it flex a bit more ,have you heard any thing like that also can anyone tell me best glue to use many thanks paul

Glue depends on what access you've got to apply it. Really you ought to use contact adhesive, but you only get one chance at positioning, and you can't slide the piece around to get the positioning correct. Maybe a couple of dabs of silicone sealant, or even something like double-sided sellotape. Not too permanent, and see how it holds up.
