One of the principles of war is "Economy of Effort".

Having just spent an hour or so chipping millions of squashed insects and their bloody residue off the front of my car... I was wondering if anyone has a simple solution?

I'm sure we're all in the same boat here during the good weather

Halfords do a microcell sponge with a black cloth side which works on the cars I clean. If they are really bad, soak with wet cloths i.e. lay them on the surfaces and allow to soak. Tar and bug remover products require too much effort

^^Exactly as above. Soak some tea towels in warm water and leave them hanging over the front for 5-10 mins. Should shift mnost of them without disturbing the wax/sealant too much.

Use reasonably new tea towels from the kitchen & then chuck them straight in the laundry basket.. (wet with bug guts intact) The missus will luv you for it & leave you in peace for a while!

Try using water which is hot enough to mildly hurt your hands....

I didnt believe it but the flies came straight off with minimum effort.
