a couple of questions about this game. I've only had it a week and i am really loving it, but i have a few issues with the ai cars.

why can they not drive properly? they have crap racing lines, they always seem to hit me at the most stupid point on the track and they don't seem to adhere to the blue flag rule (if such a thing exists in the game) do they get better or is this how its gonna be through out.

and secondly, whats the best way to nudge them off the track? I've tried pushing on the rear 3/4 corner and stearing into them, but very few often spin off.

p.s im on the amature level.

Normal procedure is to try and overtake them, without hitting them. This isn't a Playstation game

It's only a matter of time before someone creates a mod with car-mounted machine-guns.

Play RD3 and you'll see what bad AI really drives like.

Yeah, GTL AI can be pretty annoying. Yesterday I was in a Career race (60's Touring Car Heaven at Spa) and I was stuck behind a Cortina weaving from one side of the track to the other in all the straight sections. Took two laps to find a hole big enough to squeeze my Mustang through without getting side-swiped.

Their car control is flawless, don't even try to nudge them off track.

I think their lines are more consistent at higher difficulty levels. Try Professional and they drive like Michael Schumacher. At Amateur they're more like Yuji Ide. Hmmm... considering that's the level I'm playing the Career at, I'd better keep quiet.
