After hurting round for a while with no luck then talking to a few members on the forum on the best places to try, I got a great price for insurance for my Holden Through A-Plan. I spoke to Clare Ironside on 01635874646 who not only new what a holden ute was, but game back to me with the best price for that and beating the price for my current car quote by a couple hundred pounds.
So give her a ring for a price.
I also want to thank those who put me on the right track with a few quiries. Cheers

P.S also a Kiwi

£1800!!! Who was that with? Did they have a stripey jumper on and a ski mask? Mines £1200 for 12000 miles. Married, 25, 5 years no claims.

There was a previous thread posted on here re A-plan. The quotes seem fine, and they will cover enhancements. But it implied that they would only repair or replace with original equipment. So if you need new exhaust, brakes, suspension after a smash, and you have enhanced bits on, they will only replace with manufacturer OE.

Not speaking from personal experience, think it was a Pistonheads thread.

£1800!?, well there might have been a DQ for an SP50 at one point as well as an uninsured driver claim which didnt help. Plus crime borough of the country Brent in London NW.
Total all that up and its not pretty.

Ahh, I see. Not to worry, you're not the only one to have had a DQ but I'm sure, like me, you have learned your lesson. Adrian Flux were cheaper by about £200 for me.

Im paying £950 for Holden ute and (dear I say it) white Van. 31 yrs old with two years no claims.
Tried Adrain Flux who gave me the standard £1350 for the holden only. Told them to go away and come back with a better price and never did.
