Today is the 1st Tuesday of the month.......
Which means next Tuesday is the 2nd Tuesday of the month.......:
Which means next Tuesday is the monthly meet at Ashby Folville.

My only visit to this event was in May and it was busy then. I can only imagine it'll be even busier in July so an early arrival is recommended!

Anyone else thinking of going along? I'll hopefully be leaving from Uppingham approx 6.00-6.15pm so can meet you on the way or at Ashby.

I went once last year and it was so chocca that I couldn't get near the pub for a drink or any nosh.

IF I go this time I will be taking a picnic. - Now there's a thought. Wonder if we could get a PH'ers area and have a communal one?

Hey Longers, your within spitting distance of me at the minute. I'm working in Horninghold at the mo but live in Leicester. I'll most likely be going next week, just look for a short chubby bloke with a cast around his left wrist. It'll be good to meet a few people.

We always take sarnies and cider. It just isn't worth it trying to get served in the pub. Anyway, we pay our £1 to charity to get in, so why not?

Hoping to make it this month, fingers crossed (again). Will probably head there early if I can, especially if the weather's good, so hopefully see some of you there

Longers, some of us Ketteringites have a mini-convoy over to the Mkt Harboro McDs. Its at the north end of the by-pass. (A6) We met up with some VW campervan lads and headed up the Melton Mowbray road with them. Do you take the A47 from Uppingham? Maybe ther`s some sort of meeting point near there?

Anyone coming near Desborough would quite like to go if free seat is available!

Fully intend to be there, with usual friends. As always, it depends on work etc. Would strongly recommend an early arrival, but there are often comings and goings, and I would think the overspill field will be open. Hope to see you all there. Dave

So, when & where are we meeting? I think I'll be on 2 wheels as the Elise is showing signs of head gasket failure

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it as new windows going in today and was up till midnight last night in preparation.

I might try & sell SWMBO on the fact it would be good to get out and away from the mess for the evening so, you never know!

Take lots of piccies for me!

The coolant has needed a small regular top up, which developed to a larger top up yesterday. The engine is idling a bit lumpy from cold, with more condensation coming from the exhaust than I think there should be. Then came the small mayonaise factory that appears to have set up under the oil cap, although there's none on the dip stick... I topped the water up and cleared the mayo, then took her for a good run. At the moment everything seems fine, no more mayo, engine idled fine this morning, water level and temperature are normal. May be it's the early stages, time will tell...

I'll try & get to the post by 6pm then, on the Gixxer.
