If you're friend is looking for an OPC car(?) then Porsche Mayfair have one at the moment.

Very nice options list.

Price is 37,900 but I'm sure they'd negotiate on that or provide some creative financing option that would suit. I bought from Mayfair and they were very good to deal with.

Private would no doubt get much cheaper but OPC cars come with warranties etc. Very much a personal choice.

The engine size changed with the facelift ..

If you buy privately (or non-OPC trade) you'll get MUCH more bang for buck and it's no problem to get it Porsche warrantied ... Just have it checked by Porsche before putting the wad down on it , and if stuff needs to be fixed , use that as leverage with the seller..

Black is the very devil to keep clean (but I so dont care !) and I for one (and it seems, the ONLY one!) rather like my tiptronic so there !!

I've had two months to learn to live with mine, and perhaps in hindsight a manual would have been a better bet, BUT, I had the money burning a hole in my pocket and it was at that point the only black 4S cab I could find was tip, so I took it !! And its not TOO bad when yr pushing on a bit I certainly don't loose any sleep (or depreciation) over it.
