Nope.

you have to produce your liscence PRIOR to Breifing at sign on.

No Liscence = No Drive!

(so look after it! )

Send off to the DVLA for a replacement licence before you get banned.

Worth noting if someone does a track day on a ban, not only is any insurance they have invalid, but it can also prejudice the organiser's cover, and potentially that of other drivers.

This isnt always the case.

I never used to insist on a driving license, as my insurance company didnt insist! Check with a few of the companies running, you can always ring them and see what they have to say! The only problem is getting there

I know a few racing drivers who have not passed their test yet. Surely this amounts to about the same thing. Can't really see the problem, but it would be down to the organisers I guess.

I've only ever seen those accepted on test days.

A friend did a few track days a couple of years back while banned, he just got someone to drive the car to the circuit, might be more strict now though. One of the days was a Bookatrack event not sure if the others were.

check with organiser

no hard and fast rule ban dosn't stop track driving but rings alarm bells

sure if i was banned i would be ok as most of the tracks i use know me

they just warn my passengers not to get in the car

what they clasify as out of control i class as fun

always best not to try to hard in front of the pits

and if you do spin in front of the pits dont get out and take a bow

Even if you have a race licence, your race licence also becomes invalid if you are banned form driving on the roads.

but they would have done there ARDS test!

And on the getting a copy before you are banned, they will know when you get the other one taken away that it wasn't the replacement so you'd then get done for that too!

Sorry mate! I disagree! I have done about 30 trackdays with all the major companies and they ALL want to see a driving licence.

As most have said it depends on the organiser. Johnathon Cocker was racing before he was legally of age (he was 16)to obtain a road licence, he did a few trackdays too and I bet there are quiet a few others that have done so.
