Ok, so I've decided that I miss my Vic 20 and need another toy

So, does anybody have any tips on the best place to buy a 360 full system? Also, is it possible to use the 360 with a monitor - daft question but thought I would ask.

Cheers

Bought mine from my local game shop for £150 for the entry model. that was 2 months old. Ok secondhand but not a bad price 6 months ago. Also yes I have my 360 on my monitor and again you should be able to get the leads from any game shop

You can use a 360 with a monitor yes, it also allows you to use the high def modes.
I use mine on my 22" CRT monitor (still not a fan of TFT's) and it looks great.
I just walked into Blockbusters and picked up an official VGA adapter (unofficial ones are cheaper) which uses the standard monitor style connection.TFT's etc can use the other types of cables to connect though.

As for where to buy, if you want new i suppose you just pick the best package for your needs.
PC world, Dixons, Toys R Us etc etc.

Decide if you want a lesser package and add bits like the hard drive and wireless pads later, or get the better packages with all that included for more money.

Ebay is also another source but beware of ones that have had the dvd drives flashed to play backups
as you may possibly get banned from the live service if you were not made aware.
