Guy's,

A sad day indeed, but some slag has relieved me of my 7 & 9" Fuch alloys. If anyone is offered these, and lets be honest, 9" x 16's are pretty rare, have a heart and do the right thing and please drop me a line. A reward will be available. For the record, they are shod with Kuhmo Ecsta V70 race tyres, so they should be pretty obvious they are not from a road car.

Many Thanks and bring back hanging,

Steve

Weird they'd nick Fuchs... not exactly the blingest wheels these days; doubt they'd even fetch good money on fleabay... anyway, bad luck and we'll keep a look out.

9 x 16's are getting harder to find in decent conition, so they do fetch good money on ebay.

Steve,
Sorry to hear about your wheels.

Might be worth giving everyone a few details on where and when the wheels were stolen. If it was from your home the thief may be local based but if it's a track you've likely to need to have a wider search.

Some details on the wheels, finish, colour what condition were they in, any curbing, distinguishing marks?

Once you've given us more details I'd suggest we post them on Porsche Club GB website and Impact Bumpers.com as not many sets of 9x16's will be sold without those guys hearing about them.

G7jhp and the rest of you for your info.

The wheels were in mint condition, a few little rubs here or there, but really nice. They were complete with black centre caps, and fitted with brand new Kuhmo Ecstra V70 race tyres. These are a List 1B tyre, and only a couple of people sell them. The tyre sizes were 205/50/16 and 245/45/16. I can't remember the code, but the fronts are identifyable as very soft compound. Even to the touch. The rears are medium. And from memory, the wheels had the valve supports fitted to the rims.
They were taken from my trailer in Rainham, Essex, but were on the tyre rack, and locked on.
As i say, if anyone so much as sniffs that these are about, i will offer a decent reward for their return.

Many Thanks
