Hello all.

I'm currently living in West Suffolk but moving to the South West next month. Thing is, I don't want to take the race car down there only to bring it back to Snetterton for my next race in September (380 miles each way !).

Does anyone have any possible suggestions as to where I could store the car & trailer (undercover) from 14/8-22/9 ?

Many thanks.

yell.com search for 'car & caravan storage' businesses in the area that's convenient to you?

The only place I could recommend would be autostore.co.uk - a colleague does some work for them and is always dead impressed with their professionalism - if Cambs isn't too far to out of your way.

You could try Rick Wildridge at Haldo, in Bury St. Edmunds 01284 754043

I think he still has car storage facilities at his Bury factory. He usually has all sorts of exotica under lock and key.

A great guy too, another petrolhead.

Worth a try.

Cheers

Now that was interesting.
Storage sorted, although a bit of a thorn amongst roses :-)

I assume he still has few of his own, along with a few others!?

Haven't been out back for ages, but last time i did i was like a kid in a sweet shop.

I have a 25k square ft modern secure storage facility in Thetford, only 5-10 mins from Snetterton that you may be able to use. Let me know sizes of your trailer and I'll work out a rate for you. Only thing I can't store is fuel, for insurance reasons.
