Boring question I know, but can anyone recommend a good pub or restaurant (that's ok with kids) for lunch near Exeter not too far from the M5 or A30. Taking 'er Indoors to see relatives in Cornwall and need lunch on the way. Fed up with eating at Exeter services

Thanks

Nick

There are some nice pubs in IDE just of the A30. Come off M5 onto A30 and its the first jct. Its a very quiet village so should be ok for a pitstop with kids.

Try the Barn Owl, take the junction immediately before Exeter services, at the bottom of the slip road turn right onto the duel carriageway, 400 yards roundaboot second exit, and the pub is on ther right hand side as you go up the hill just before the Met Office.
