1st quote via a plan (very friendly bunch)

£789 fully comp protected no claims 400 xs

33yrs old 3 points, no accidents, full no claims, driveway - south manchester

400bhp modded hsv gts

10k miles incl business

any suggestions if this is the right ball park figure?

previous car 3.8 porsche 911 was £600 and worth twice as much?

obviously ringing around but just want a feel if this is ball park right

Round about right. Keep asking around though.

I've just gone with A-Plan and paid exactly the same for my Commodore with 7yrs NCB, 27 yrs old, all mods declared, 3 points (SP50), £300 excess, & no more than 10k a year with no business mileage.

All other insurance companies I tired were over the £1,000 mark.

update adrian flux - 970!? and thats without mods? they have never been anywhere near with any of my cars - which seems strange as they are suposed to be the modified experts....

Yeah, the stuff for A plan the commodore was £489 through QBE insurance. Mind you it isn't a v8. I would tell A plan to go away and get some better quotes. They are a pretty good company so far.. been pretty impressed with them.
