Story on ITV news about Gina Ford (some child expert) moaning at defamatory comments on mums.net and calling for the site to be closed down

Remind anybody of anything?

It's just pathetic - these people need to be a hell of a lot more thickskinned! Whatever happened to free speech!?

Silly spiteful cow.

That's my own opinion and doesn't reflect the opinion of the site owner. Hope she goes bankrupt

And how does she think this will reflect on her? Obviously a whole load of people are going to be switched on to her ideas now

Pathetic.

My opinions, etc.

I have never heard of her. After seeing how unreasonable and illogical over this matter it gives me the impression that she would be unreasonable and illogical over parenting as well.

So I will not buy any of her books cos she comes across like a spitful jealous old hag

she will probably claimed she was bullied and get a cool million.

disclaimer
this is obviously my opinion based on nothing more than this thread. and does not represent the opinions of anyone else even other people who dont like her!

I now know why she started her carrer in parenting books.

Its because she is that ugly her mother had to get drunk to breast feed her!

In all seriousness - I've only recently heard of her (must be a parent-to-be thing in the main) and I'd heard opinions of both negative and positive but, given this, I have to say that I am totally sold on the fact that she should be avoided at all costs.

In fact, I fancy I might email her (presumably she has a site - editorial@contentedbaby.com) telling her (politely) that her actions have lost her one open-minded potential acolyte and indeed anyone I should talk to. It might be good for her to hear that he actions have spread far beyond mums.net audience.

Smacks of bullying to me. Probably something she speaks against in her books.

That is a bloke in drag. Got to be. Looks like a very bad and ugly Danny La Rue impersonator!

These are my own views, nothing to do with Pistonheads.com Please feel free to mail me via my profile should you wish to prosecute.
