Even moreso when you clock that those 'pinstripes' on the frame are conductive paint things that are replacing the Di2 cables!

There are some on their website: http://talbotframeworks.co.uk/bikes/dalsnibba/ Clever idea but the exposed connections look a bit delicate.

Yeah- that's not finished, but Bespoked wasn't going to wait for us so we had to take it as was.

What you see in the pictures is prototype #2, we'll be moving onto prototype #3 after the show.

For #2 we just soldered onto terminal pads which we bonded to the frame, for #3 we'll terminate the cables in waterproof connectors- likely 3D printed.

I'm guessing by the finishing kit it's a "budget" brand, I've not heard of it, but I like. Where did you get it?

Cheers. It's a more budget bike but not from a budget brand. BH, along with Orbea, are the the main Spanish brands. Not well known in the UK, but big in Europe and the US. They are Spain's answer to Bianchi, big brand, one of the oldest makes, broad ranges, great successes and still family owned by the Beistegui family.

They're from the Basque region of Spain, a major cycling area, and from where I was born. I bought a BH in 1986, they were very successful in the Tour and the Vuelta around that time. Now getting around to restoring my old bike, just finished stripping down for painting.

Will put up photos when finished

The MTB is from Go Outdoors, reduced as it's the 2013 model. As they are current World Champions their 2014 model is in the champion colours.... It's a Spike 5.9. Spike is their starter range, as I am a roadie that suits me!

I like this (in particular I love internal cable routing) but:
1. Gumwall?
2. Your poor derailleur - have some mechanical sympathy man! Big cog to big cog is a no-no even for photos!
3. Mavic rims but a Zipp bottle cage? That's like mixing Shimano and Campag!
4. Do you have a higher res photo? wink

From points 1 and 3 I can only assume that's your winter wheelset!
