Did you not test drive it?

Should be obvious if it is a ripshifter or not.

You test drove the salesman - Jeez, those salesmen will do anything to close a deal

Ripshifter is extremely short throw and very possitive and, dare i say, notchy/clunky and I mean that in a good way.

the HSV Monaro has a shorter gear stick than a CV8 and it has a tighter feel (nylon inserts) but it is still the same as a CV8 under the short stick...............
