Have the 3rd Griff 200 made (very early 65 - authenticated by Joe Rauhl THE Griff 200 / 400 Expert) - first three had Grantura Mk3 bodies with twin rear lights not the ban the bomb Mk1 Cortina ones.

One of only 3 referred to in various books as lightweights. Car is in bits but chassis and body almost back to 100% - recon 2 years to finish to full fia spec.

Pics to follow.

Will get a web documented rebuild up - most likely on the TVRMonster site.

Good to be back with an old car........

400bhp, ultra short wheelbase and 860ish kg should make for a Wild Ride!

e-mail me with details of the car I may have some info sheets for it whichmay be of use.

Haha - she is not over the moon! Think doing the bathroom will be brought forward to chill her some what!

Yep 17 getting few days after honeymoon. Will see what I can dig out re in-car stuff - last one was great class win (4th in race)but even so Steve Wattons past me from the back still after 4-5 laps though!

Crank rumbled a few races later and parked it for the year (hopefully caught it fast enough to be a bearing - everything crossed!) - will strip fix and sell in Europe next year - try and go out there and spank a filed of TR's an then say - it is for sale if you want the fastest TR4 out there!

TR6 next few years - then the two of them an Chimp for track days and racing.

Hi Jon. Congratulations!!! As HeightSwitch knows, hubby and I own chassis 23, one of the first of the heavyweights! We know Joe Rauh - he helped us out with the history of our car too which we bought from California race prepared.

We race our Griff with the HSCC and Top Hat etc. Please email me as like HeightSwitch, I may be able to help in relation to things to think about re FIA preparation.
