I just bought a 3.2 Carrera with a black leather interior with white piping and wanted to give all the leather parts some cleaning and care. Can you recommend some products for this purpose, and maybe where best to buy them? thanks!!

I use the Gliptone leather cleaner & conditioner on my car seats (and bike leathers), and it is the best stuff I have used. I believe it is recommended by the Classic Rolls Royce Club(so I was told) really good stuff. I bought my last lot from

I'll second that, gliptone GT11 and GT12 leather cleaner and conditioner products are A1.
Leaves a nice matt finish and a new leather smell in the cabin.
Have tried the Autoglym and Zymol products but none are as good as Gliptone.

Gliptone for me too, its the best I've used for leather.

Whoever specced. my car initially had some kind of leather fixation, including:
leather sun visors
leather AC vents

It takes a lot of Gliptone

ok, so is the leather on a porsche seat "sealed" or "semi sealed or analine" since it affect whether you purchase GT11 or GT12?

I've used every leather cleaner and conditioner on the market over the past xxxx years. Gliptone is the only one I use now, brilliant stuff whatever your car brand happens to be.

Have no idea but the GT11 and GT12 products produce that just delivered from the factory look that keeps me happy.

Same here, no idea what Porsche seats are amongst the three options - however the people's clear fav' seems to be the Gliptone combo, so I should get my set tomorrow and will find out over the week-end...

Thanks to everyone!

Porsche seats are sealed, I.e. they are finished in a style similar to connolisation.

ergo will not absorb liquid, therefore do not accept leather treatments.

However I use zymol and cheap leather feed to keep them clean.

I would have to disagree with that.
When i use the gliptone cleaner I apply it liberally and it is absorbed.......then when it is time to use the conditioner I again apply it liberally and again it is absorbed into the leather.

The finish is as new and smells as new also.

How thoroughly do you wipe with clean water after applying the Gliptone? I notice after each wipe it comes up soapy.

I'm not disagreeing with you i'm just explaining what the seats are.

If I believed that connolisation totally seals the seat I wouldn't hide feed mine either!
