I'm no expert but, having seen our 1800S and vixen being restored, these look like the posts for the doors. The one with two slots is for the door hinges.

Happy to be contradicted.

Hi J

'Intrepid Leaders' are usually ready for anything.

Good luck at Harewood.

When you have a pile of bits and just photos of them at this stage (do not get them for eaxctly a month - have to get married an have honeymoon first) you can appreciate I am some what keen to work through them all - no doubt it will all be patently obvious when we have all the bits.

I think I am upto it

I'm sure you are and you will enjoy both the challenge and the end result.

Daftlad - great selection of cars you have the Turbo and 851 - great choices especially.

Best place to have them up in Yorkshire me thinks.

Jelly.

Many thanks. The two you mention are family mebembers, the Turbo just returned after being away for a while... It's just about to have its Turbo "slightly upgraded" and de-coked to get back the low down boost and ballistic acceleration.

The 851 is fast approaching furniture status, much to the annoyance of my good lady wife. paperbag
