After a fairly congested-traffic drive today, I noticed the off-side front wing was extremely hot. Any ideas what this could be?

I normally cuddle it from the other side, so it's the first time I've noticed.

could this possibly be the side of the car where the (hot) oil pipes go off to be cooled by the oil cooling rad?????

Cheers CS, that's what I'm thinking, just strange I've never noticed it before and often have to squeeze past it in the garage.

Really I'm just trying to do my bit for the 996 internet paranoia mob.

Cool, you have created another "every car is affected" acronyn......VHW (Very Hot Wing) will soon be right up there with RMS.

All jokes aside , I coped a feel today (of my wing of course) after a good drive and didn't notice any temperature increase over when the car was cold... Maybe it's my car that's not doing the right thing , but if it's hot rather than just 'warm' I'd be inclined to get it checked out

I was wondering afterwards would this happen if the rads were debris clogged??
