Crankshaft Rear main bearing oil seal Problem
Discussion
What have Porsche done to cure this problem? anyone Know? The manual says the seal must be fitted dry? is this the Germans being (how do you spell padantic?) is a modification available? how many are failing? is this away of selling exstended warranty?anyone on the site working at Dealers with inside info?
Its a oil leak, but only a small amount at most, nobody likes calling cards on their drive,i think this has been all hyped IMHO,just check your oil level occasionally and any major puddles on the drive.Get it changed when you do the clutch, from what i gather a lot leak again when they are replaced.I do stand to be corrected if this isn't true.
