There have been a number of posts recently from fellow PH's who are concerned that they are unable to sell thier used porsche. The general feedback is that the price has been to high to attract any attention and that a cosiderable reduction is needed to sell the car on.
I suppose this may be a dissapointment to the owners who may have held belief in the steady value of a used porsche. However the law of supply/demand has come into force and that is the way of all used cars.
However a small check on the depriciation of a new euro/eastern car can be 50 % in the first year ! (according to the used car roadshow) So even allowing for the need to cut your asking price now this may still mean that the porsche has faired better than most.

But perhaps we may be missing the point here. There are cheaper ways of getting from A to B than porsche ownership.
So allowing for the loss of cash value which effects us all, is it the joy of ownership, driving and even washing the car that is the the real VALUE of a porsche (or what ever your P&J may be)
