This weekend its European Finals time at Santa Pod. It will be the first event I,ve been to in a while due to bad weather and clashes with other things. The weathers looking good so far for Sunday and the entry list has 11 top fuelers on it!!

Anyone interested in going? If so a couple of things to bear in mind. You need to get there early as theres only one way in and it gets very busy. I normally try to get on site my 9.30am latest. Secondly, its £27 entry so any talk of rain bear in mind that some of the day will be 'down time' while they dry the track. If you have never been before ITS VERY LOUD !! , so fingers in ears.

If anyone would like to tag along or meet up there, drop me a PM.

Hi Ian. Sounds good
I might go along. It depends on a couple of things as well as the weather! If I decide to go, I'll mail you my phone number Saturday.

It's been a few years since I've been, but the experience is just awesome!! Over 5,000 hp from an engine makes me go weak at the knees

Nice one Gary. The weathers still looking good for Sunday (for a change!!). If I remember correctly the top fuel motors are now pushing out nearer 7000hp and top speeds over 300mph.

I,ll mail you my mobile number today so if you go you can let me know when you get there, and arrange a RV point !!
