Will 18" Rims Fit ?

Iv seen a set of 18" alloys wheels which i like the look of,would i have any problems with fitting them to my 1984 911 Carrera ?

The problem here is going to be offsets. The 3.2 Carrera uses quite small offsets (around 10mm - 26mm) and most of the Porsche-specific alloys you will find will be much greater than that, to suit the later cars. You can, of course, use spacers to reduce the offset of the wheel but you'll need to know the exact dimensions of the wheel in question in order to do that.

Bear in mind that the standard wheels on the 3.2 were only 15" or 16" so you'll have to go for a severely reduced aspect ratio tyre to retain the same (or near) rolling radius.

I'm sure there are plenty of 3.2 owners who can advise better but my 864 is completely different I'm afraid.

Yeh i was thinking about the off-set iv got 16" rims on my 911 at the moment,how bigger spacer's will i need do you think ?

Only my opinion, but surely the 3.2 Carrera was never designed for such big diameter wheels/tyres, and looks far prettier on the beautiful Fuchs rims.
