the megane race was the best for me.
Damn, I knew it would be, I should have popped back over later on in the day for that. I turned up early, mooched about for an hour or so, thought it was all a bit crap and chavridden, so cleared orf home.

It was a great day apart from hoping the tuscan wouldnt over heat trying to get in the place.
Glorious weather for my first donington race meet oh and the racing wasnt bad either.
F1 exhibition drive was my favorite.

i met up yesterday with V15 ben, was ok but we went to leave at 3:45 and i didnt get home (gedling, nottingham) till 8:00 was not impressed no organisation as raceboy will verify!! and then some inbred working there told us that the other exit was clear wich was a load of crap as usual! you would think that as they hold quite a few big events that they would be slightly organised for large crowds!! becase the guy working the car park was pretty close to getting linched on a few occations (end of rant)

We were there on the Sunday, much better weather than last year.

The only time the sun went in was when the bloody great Antonov flew over as it approached East Mids.

It was an Antanov 125 cargo plane or something similar according to my mate with seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of planes!! Very strange to see it landing at EM though!!

Organisation yesterday was utterly crap, no-one had any idea what was going on and we ended up sitting in the car park for 2 hours without moving anywhere. It was great fun sitting in the boot of the Smart Car holding on for dear life and hoping not to fall out! It seemed to entertain the crowd anyway thumbup

The car pushing in the queue was good laugh too and just about mad the 3 hour drive/walk out of the circuit worthwhile. To anyone sat in the traffic queueing near the GP collection, we were the two guys walking past you and getting home quicker

Entertaining day but Donington seriously need to get organised... I won't be going next year unless they pull their fingers out!

Glad you all enjoyed it, I didn't get up in time. (on nights until 7 am) but managed to have a good day with the EMTVRCC at Thorseby Hall.

shout mawds!

There was a venturi there! don't know which model, but was as smooth as an automotive pebble as was getting far less attention than various rusty Alpine GTA's rolleyes

I can see why you like them.....

I noticed the great silver one, stuck on the end.

I did like the red GTA LeMans though.

Did anyone else find that car sales bit near the melbourne hairpin?

Found a few Evo's, Skyline's, 3000GT/GTO's and a couple of Impreza's in it
