My 302 engined 3000M has had its T5 gearbox rebuild finished and the new petrol tank is on it's way so we're nearly ready to put it on the road .....

I would like to be able to remove the whole bonnet to make access to everything just a little bit easier.

Has anyone modified the front hinges so that you can take the whole bonnet off and still preserve the correct bonnet alignment ???

Thanks

Chris

Yes...

I got my quick-release bonnet fixings from Ian Bannister in 1992. I've no idea if he still has any, but I'm sure the usual M-series experts will know.

I got a pair of the stainless steel one's of Adrian recently, plus don't forget your quick couplers for the wiring to the front lights, fan etc.
