Book-a-Track adds two track days

Rockingham

Two further autumn dates have been added to Book-a-track's end of season calendar

• Where: Rockingham
• When: Sunday 29 October

 

• Where: Snetterton
• When: Sunday 26 November.

Both events will be run as Open Pit Lane and Caterham hire is available at competitive prices.

September and October events

• Croft - Saturday 16 September
• Oulton Park - Wednesday 20 September
• Rockingham - Sunday 30 September
• Elvington - Saturday 7 October
• Oulton Park - Saturday 14 October

Had a great trackday at Rockingham with Bookatrack at the end of July. A group of us hired three of their Caterhams, and although a bit "safe" in the setup (needed trail braking and good throttle control to tame the understeer) the whole experience was fantastic. They were also very reasonable when one of our drivers had an "incident" with a couple of Elises and did some nosecone damage.

its only a track day.

Indeed. Our (inexperienced) driver said there were two elises which basically bullied him off over a bollard (not respecting overtaking by consent).

I didn't witness it though, so can't say what the truth was.

No disrespect to Johnny's supervision and briefings though - as always organisation was impeccable.
